Richmond Geo-Trail

The Richmond Outdoor Committee has put together 30 geocaches in their first GeoTrail. These geocaches guide the participants through a history of the city. More details are available at https://www.richmond.ky.us/1422/Richmond-KY-GeoTrail. 

This trail would be suitable for working on the Geocaching merit badge.  (link)

A GPS device is not required for this activity.  A smart phone with the Geocaching.com app installed will be suitable for searching for these caches.

Richmond was offering a free souvenir to those who found at least 25 caches between October of 2023 and October 2024. They may still honor that in the future if they construct new geo-trails.
